Baptisms
We would be really pleased if you would like your child to be baptised at Holy Trinity.
Baptisms take place during the Family Service, with the congregation taking part. Baptism of a baby or young child is a statement of allegiance to Christ and the church, by the parents on the child's behalf, and it is carried out on this understanding.
Please bear in mind that in most circumstances you will need to live within the parish boundaries.
What will normally happen is we will arrange a home visit to discuss what baptism means and what is involved and then set a mutually convenient date. This is usually at least one month ahead. There is no fee payable for a baptism.
